Geranium essence is very similar in smell to rose essence. Their properties on the feminine genital apparatus are also very alike. Hormonal and uterine tonics, both Rose and Geranium help women during delivery as well as in menopause.

The superiority of rose essential oil in beauty and in the power of spirit is clear, but Geranium can be a good substitute for Rose when the price is a problem for a fragrance.

Nevertheless Geranium has some unique qualities that confer it a lifesaving value that rose does not have.

It possesses the rare property of being “cortisone-like” and therefore it quickly neutralizes most allergic reactions. This property, however, is not the most stunning one: this essence is able to decongest rapidly and in-depth the gravest inflammations: you can notice its effect on acute cases within 20 minutes.
