Bacetto

Description

“Bacetto” is a blend of essential oils designed for the daily care of teeth and of the mouth.

Ingredients: Fennel, Ginger, Frankincense, Clove, Oregano

Clove is well known for its disinfectant and analgesic properties. In aromatherapy, this oil is used in mouthwashes or gently rubbed with a toothbrush twice a day, morning and evening. Applied in the same manner, Clove is also used to prevent and stop tooth decay in its early stages and to relieve toothache. Because of their powerful fragrance and of their action on the digestive system, which is often at the root of bad breath, Fennel and Oregano oils are used in aromatherapy to treat halitosis.

Ginger is used both for the prevention and for the cure of sore throats, colds and flu. It is used in this case as gargles (1 or 2 drops) once every hour until improvement occurs.

Olibanum, better known as Frankincense, is the mythical precious resin used as incense. It was highly appreciated in ancient times not only for its fragrance but also for its amazing curative properties. Aromatherapists use Frankincense in mouthwash to help the healing process of wounds in the mouth.

In the treatment of coughs and bronchitis, this oil can be inhaled with steam (add 2 to 3 drops only in a bowl of hot water and breathe through your mouth), once or twice a day.

Steam inhalation of this oil can be very effective in dealing with sinusitis (2 or 3 drops in a bowl of hot water, inhale the steam through your nose).

Usage notes:

How to make a mouthwash or a gargle. Pour two drops of the essential oil directly in your mouth. Then take a mouthful of water, enough to make a gargle or to rinse your mouth.

Against halitosis or smoker’s breath: put one drop of the essential oil on the toothbrush or on a clean finger and rub it on your gums and teeth.

How to make steam inhalation: cover your head with a towel and lean over a bowl of hot water for three minutes to warm up your forehead and your respiratory tract. Then add two or three drops of the essential oil in the hot water bowl and breathe for at least five minutes. Wrap the towel around your head to keep warm.

Avoid contact with eyes and mucous membranes; if contact occurs, apply immediately a vegetable oil, DO NOT APPLY WATER.

Keep out of the reach of children. “Bacetto” does not interfere with homoeopathic treatments.
