The kit for tincturing raw Ambergris includes:

– 3 grams of raw Ambergris are enough for 250 ml of perfumery-grade tincture

– A flask of 50 ml. pure food-grade alcohol (alcohol is sent separately for safety reasons)

– The instruction sheet with the secrets of the trade for tincturing.

We are offering this gray quality of raw Ambergris, which has matured on see for at least 20 years. To my opinion, this is the sweetest Ambergris in smell for Perfumery and the best for medical use.

The tincture of Ambergris takes at least 3 months to be ready, but you can start using a little bit of it within 3 weeks, taking care to add alcohol in equal quantity to what you take out of your tincturing flask.

The longer Ambergris stays in the flask the stronger and better it will become. Full tincturing takes 6 months.

Ambergris perfume changes rapidly on the skin, it becomes marine and leathery with milky motherly undertones, it is extremely effective as an aphrodisiac for men when a woman wears it.

Men can wear it against shyness. Ambergris is traditionally used as a cure for epilepsy.

You can add your Ambergris tincture as a fixative to your favorite perfumes. Animal tinctures are unique for giving to perfumes a sensuality that no synthetic material can mimic.

We do care for the safeguard of the planet and of all the forms of life that it shelters. Ambergris is the only scent of animal origin obtained without killing, imprisoning or torturing the animal that produces it. Ambergris is a substance that the wild sperm whale regurgitates naturally.

When it is fresh it has nearly no value because its smell is extremely fecal and it has no value for perfumery. Ambergris must mature floating sometimes for tens of years on the sea.

The sun and the water of the oceans “wash” it until it assumes the sweet and inimitable scent of sea and leather that fascinated man since his origin. We remind that the Ambergris we use is certified “flotte”, that is “from floating”.

This guarantees the safety of the sperm whale. We remind also you that there are no international restrictions on the import and export of Ambergris. The uncertainty about New Zealand’s position ended in 2004 when the country adopted the view of most other countries that ambergris is not a whale derivative.
