Description
“Chocolate Amber” blends Chocolate and Vanilla with Tonka. Tonka is the archetype of amber fragrances. The combination results in a delicious gourmand and sensual perfume.
The chocolate accord evokes an atmosphere of pleasant relaxation and induces physical well-being. In effect, chocolate is a sensual food that stimulates our production of endorphin, a substance that has tonic, euphorising, and antidepressant effects. its perfume favors abandonment to the hedonistic pleasures of orality, helping us taste life at the moment.
In Perfume-therapy, the aroma of Cocoa is recommended for persons who are unable to enjoy the pleasures of life because of their exaggerated seriousness and intransigence with themselves.
Vanilla is most important in a chocolate note. Without it, Cocoa would be dry and bitter. Vanilla provokes a feeling of well-being and of relaxation, its olfactory message of good humor and joy is very antidepressant. Its aroma is euphorizing and comforting, it attenuates bad temper and irritability, it loosens tensions, melts down dissatisfaction and frustration, giving a sense of physical satisfaction bound to the oral phase of first infancy.
For this reason, the scent of vanilla helps also to dominate the nervous hunger, often caused by an affective emptiness, awaking in us the primordial emotion that a totally satisfied baby has after feeding. In this sense, the aroma of vanilla produces a beneficial regression, awakening in us the inner child.
The somehow aphrodisiac effect that Chocolate perfume can have is due to its capacity to awaken in our olfactory memory the sensual emotions experienced while enjoying cakes, pastries, and creams, of which the sweet aromas of Cocoa and vanilla are often the spirit. Another reason is that these two scents bring us back to the pure physical phase in which a baby discovers the world only through the feelings that its body gives him (baby’s talcum scented with vanilla and Amber). For this reason ‘Amber Chocolate’ is a fragrance that has the capacity to reassure us and to pull down inhibitions, tickling in us the extreme experience of ‘taking a bath in the Chocolate’ …
The sensuality of ‘Amber Chocolate‘ has also a chemical explanation: some molecules of the essences that compose it are very similar to human pheromones and said to have the property of tying themselves with them chemically, fixing them while putting in prominence our personal odor, just as a dress wraps the body enhancing its physical beauty. Elegant and enticing.

Hello! I would like to thank you for making the absolute most beautiful olfactive masterpiece I’ve ever laid my nose upon. I have used up my sample and it’s official… I’m in love.
Amber Chocolate is such a detailed, complex fragrance with nuances that keep one’s attention for hours on end. This is truly a work of art, and you can be sure that I’m telling the world about it! Thank you so much for creating this brilliant beauty!!!
With Love and Admiration,
Melissa

Amber Chocolate by @laviadelprofumo
This is my first time trying this decadent gourmand. I get some nice, rich, dark chocolate, a syrupy amber, and spices. The chocolate smells so good 😊 That amber, I picture is dripping off a chocolate bar like honey.
The fragrance is light, IMO. I was hoping for more projection, then noticed the scent wafting around me. Its projection is just fine.
It is intoxicating as I keep smelling my wrist! In the description, there is mention of tobacco leaf, which you can smell but without knowing that I would’ve not noticed.
This would be a great Valentine’s Day gift.

That perfume is awesome!
the scent is simple but very colorful.
The top note I smelled sweet chocolate milk.
I thought It’s for young girls.
But it was a premature conclusion!
The middle note gets to more intense for tonka bin and cacao.
It is spicy and has got a profound and sensual scent due to the bitter aroma of cacao.
I felt it.
“Oh! It’s a good scent for men too.”
Smokey and bitter and a warm scent.
Even more amazing is the scent of the last note!
The last scent is freshly baked vanilla-scented pancakes.
It’s a fragrant sweet vanilla and very creamy like butter and honey.
It’s like a chameleon.
The scent changes frequently.
It will be obviously attractive.
and that suits both men and women!

I put some on a very beautiful, young Ethiopian friend of mine- and on her, the animalic aspect was pronounced!
Interestingly- neither she nor I were disturbed by this fact [ to her nose- it smelled “like pure amber” ] but some very reserved people didn’t like that at all.
As it developed, she smelled like animalic coffee amber.
Both of us were delighted.
That tells you something about how people react in a cultural context, doesn’t it?
On a very dry-skinned, fair, post-menopausal woman, it was pure chocolate she was thrilled.
It cheered the end of a very long day, with her poor tired feet…
She was most grateful.

The Chocolate Amber literally reminds me of my Sicilian grandparents home. And as only a scent can do, it does so vividly.
Well beyond the chocolate, there is the delightful smell of a comfortable old room at play, of aged leather and wood. Maybe not the smoke itself, exactly…more like the patina of smoke, my grandfather having something lit and smoldering at all times. He would take apart a cigarette and put it in his pipe, then roll his pipe tobacco and make it into a cigarette. Constant variations on the theme of tobacco, perpetually smoking the house. Often to the sound of the Italian music on the radio after we came inside. Years later, after he had long departed and I lived in that home to care for my ailing grandmother while going to school, there was still that subtle patina. Deep in the walls. In the woods themselves. The plaster. Of my grandfather’s stories…of music and smoke.
Outside, I could still smell his cigar from our garden of a tiny back yard, long gone wisps along with the marigolds in summer, the way a tomato plant smellsall mingling with the scent of the city itself. With the very weather. When I was a kid back there, playing while he tended the plants, I would purposely throw a ball we were playing with into the herbs and act like I couldn’t find it, my head buried in the basil and rosemary.
