Palermo Don Corleone

I imagined a fragrance that would represent the Sicilian people, a perfume in which everything is exaggerated, starting with an exaggeration of Vanilla. I wanted a fragrance that would be extra-large also in sensuality, but having in it the hidden dark dangerous side of Sicily. Description
“Non è per i picciotti”
“Palermo Don Corleone” was composed during a Sicilian summer holiday. Sicilians’ predilection for the Vanilla note reveals very different psychology from what we imagine about them.
I smelled so many Vanilla accords in the wake of Sicilian men and women that I felt challenged to compose a Vanilla theme perfume, which I never attempted before.
Their love for this aroma is of course in line with their passion for pastries, sweets and chocolates, but it also denotes a very strong sentimental attachment to the mother, the need to be comforted, and of tenderness.
I imagined a fragrance that would represent the Sicilian people, a perfume in which everything is exaggerated, starting with an exaggeration of Vanilla. I wanted a fragrance that would be extra-large also in sensuality, but have in it the hidden dark dangerous side of Sicily. To obtain this result I played Vanilla in an accord with Tuberose and Tobacco.
The result is a strong masculine perfume that paradoxically many women will like and easily wear, deeply sensual but at the same time serious. All the Sicilians to whom I showed it just love it, from this I know to have succeeded in celebrating their untamed spirit with this fragrance.

Palermo Don Corleone make you an offer to take a smell one of the most interesting part of Italy and its fascinating history. And this offer really is something exceptional! Sensual, soft, warm, deep, addictive, narcotic and rich scent with very interesting character of caring and danger mixed.
I can smell tobacco and vanilla notes clearly, but also hints of tuberose and vetiver in the background. Overall this is heady dark vanilla tobacco scent with addictive deep character. For all natural fragrance this smoothness and deepness without any harshness is something magical.
I can warmly recommend you to grab this offer!

I had already reviewed it on my website but I never grow tired of this one. Potent and explosive, dry and rustling, of leather and of spices. Tuberoses, exotic, and tobacco, narcotic.
A pinch of pepper, a punch of flowers – a vanilla sunny under a hot, fuming, Sicilian summer.
Temperamental gourmand hiding in the shade of yellow palazzos, Palermo don Corleone is alike Sicilia itself – a blend of cultures, of Northern and Southern. It is colourful and bronzed, it is stern like the Normans and mighty like Byzantium.
A vanilla at the crossroads of times and of realms, ageing in rum-soaked barrels, it reminds me of fleeting moments of my childhood in the Réunion isle where I beheld under a brazing sun, amidst the wet groves of mountainous jungles, a floor covered in vanilla beans roasting in the heat and perfuming the air…

e. de sandre –
i have both bought this for myself and then introduced a friend to it. Palermo i have never visited, but this scent is Italia to me, and that includes the north, and the areas around Como as well as Rome. it is big, generous, but do not mistake and think it is ‘simple.’ This scent is deep.

This is a WOW scent.
I didn’t have to open the vial that I was already seduced by its colour : ambery, liquory, with hints of orange that remind me of an old Tokaji. This is the first part of the trip and I although I never went to Sicily, I felt like I had. I could picture myself meandering in a long street going uphill, with ocre-painted houses, the smell of fried dough and gelati invading the air…
Then I opened the vial.
The WOW happened.
This is not your usual vanilla. This is wownilla. If anything, it’s not a vanilla at all. Or actually, it is THE vanilla as it should be known. It is dark, it is rich, it is exuberant, it is spicy. It is not at all what you would expect from a vanilla scent. Yes it feels warm and comforting, but it is not cloying, it isn’t really sweet at all. Rather, you get slapped in the face by too sensual a vanilla, strengthened by a strong tobacco note which acts as the perfect bridge between the vanilla and tuberose, both being round and sharp at the same time.
An intoxicating scent, absolutely unusual but one I can’t imagine being unnoticed or un-liked.
If you are into overly sweet vanillas and gourmand ones, beware : this is uncensored vanilla. You will get addicted. And you will definitely never, ever, go back…

Wow, what a great scent.
The name goes very well with this fragrance. I smell the tobacco and can only confirm that it is of the very best quality. I personally come from Sardinia, if the scent is to represent the Sicilian soul, you can not explain it better. Especially the transition with this great vanilla and then the tuberose , Fantastic.
Thanks for the samples.
Greetings: Bruno
Francisco –
This is the best vanilla scent I have ever smelled.
Women love it and it’s perfectly unisex. Deep, complex and sweet.
I like it very much.

In my opinion, this is the very best product made by anyone anywhere.
I have ordered this item multiple times and the quality is very consistent.
Five stars is way too low, 100 stars is about right.
