16. Timbuktu petrol stations

Petrol can be bought by the liter everywhere in the world, but only in Timbuktu have I seen it sold in one-liter bottles.

It is totally appropriate to say “the petrol station on the street corner”.

Also on the roundabout.

Gasoline is more attractive when it is sold in nice bottles, but be careful, maybe someone will think that you can drink it.
