Hi Salaam, I just wanted to thank you in advance for saving me from making a huge mistake. I have been sourcing Sandalwood to resell (since theirs was supposedly from a renewable source without the concern of environmental impact). I received a sample from a manufacturer/Processor and although they specifically told me that it was not Mysore, it was in fact a quality oil which was produced in India. We both “know” of whom I am speaking. I’ve since decided to abandon my original idea as the results of my quest for the oil did not meet my expectations.

I would say that sometimes it’s better to leave well enough, alone. I think that sourcing a product which is controversial to begin with, is better being left to the Professionals. There is a lot of trickery and deception out there and if you don’t know exactly what you’re doing, you’re better off not even trying. Everything is not always as it seems. Thanks, Frank

Real Mysore Sandalwood is really hard to come by, last year I could not find it.
When you have some it is worth to keep it, it becomes even better with age.
