Lavender absolute or essential oil?

i just hear a comment, that perfumers ” should be using” Lavender absolute, while aromatherapists use Lavender essential oil. What do you think about this ?

Dear Jeffrey.
Lavender essential oil is more beautiful than Lavender absolute in the same way that Rose essential oil is more beautiful than Rose absolute. However, in the same way, as you use both Rose E.O. and absolutes for your perfumes, you can use both lavender E.O. and absolute.

I was thinking that as well, i love both types of rose and sometimes you need one and sometimes you need both. I was unsure when e said that Perfumers “should” be using Lavender absolute, because the lavender we used in class smelled beautiful. And the Lavender essential oil also had vitality in the top notes that would be more rounded in the absolute.
