Description
The name comes from a 16th-century Italian nobleman, Marquis Frangipani, who first conceived a perfume used to scent gloves made with flowers of plumeria. Now this fragrant tree and its flowers are known by all as Frangipani.
The aroma of the flowers of Frangipani has a resemblance to that of the flowers of Ylang Ylang, floral, modern and youthful, but it is a more voluptuous, full and round, almost buttery-like broom, intoxicating and tender, its scent fills the heart with a sweet excitement, at the same time sensual and spiritual.
It is reputed for its ability to awaken emotions and help women overcome the psychological barriers related to love and sexuality.
The scent of Frangipani exudes provocative but satisfied femininity, young but motherly, and is the “perfect scent” for women of all ages.
