Linden blossom perfume is obtained by diluting its essential oil into pure natural food-grade grain alcohol 96°.
Linden Blossom is like a joyous, sweet, honeyed Frangipani. It is a flowery perfume, slightly narcotic and exciting.
It is a scent that I wear and, being so nice, I can never get enough of it. Truly a perfume for the soul.
Linden trees belong to the Tiliaceae family, which consists of nearly 80 species native to Europe and found in northern temperate regions. The 5-petaled, fragrant, yellow to white flowers are collected after spring bloom, dried, and carefully preserved. The flowers are the most valued components of the linden tree.
Linden Blossom Benefits and Uses
Linden has been used to induce sweating for feverish colds and infections, reduce nasal congestion, and relieve throat irritation and cough.
Linden Blossom has sedative effects and can be used to treat nervous palpitations and high blood pressure. It can be added as an ingredient in lotions to relieve itchy skin.
