Description
This Eau de Parfum is obtained by mixing Tree Moss Absolute with pure 96% natural NON-denatured wheat alcohol.
It is sometimes referred to commonly as Old Man’s Beard, Beard Lichen, Tree’s Dandruff, Woman’s Long Hair, or Tree Moss.
Blends well with Bergamot, Cedarwood, Clove Bud, Cypress, Geranium, Lemon, Grapefruit, Juniper, Labdanum, Oakmoss, Patchouli, Rosemary, etc.
In ancient Egyptian embalming, P. furfuracea was found packed into the body cavity of mummies, although it is not certain whether this was done because of the supposed preservative properties or the aromatic properties of the lichen.
Fragrance: Herbal, woody forest-like aroma
Moss extraction has existed since the 15th century when it was used for perfuming gloves and wardrobe interiors.
