Description
Mysore Sandalwood essence is the perfect sandalwood scent. It has completely disappeared from the offerings as the trees were cut faster than they could grow.
The original tree, the Santalum album, was transplanted in Australia and an essence very similar to the Mysore is being produced since about 10 years ago.
More recently, a production of the Santalum album is coming from some other parts of India.
This essence is the worthy heir of the Mysore, it has all its characteristics, even the typical yellow color.
The scent is rich and resinous, sophisticated and refined, with the delicate and enchanting end note typical of the Mysore Sandalwood.
It carries the soul of the ancient civilization of India.
