Note:
Sharif has a very high percentage of Tonka, and this ingredient tends to crystalize in the pure Attar, changing the smell of the fragrance. In order to avoid it, we add 50% pure alcohol to it but there is no smell of alcohol and it behaves on the skin as an Attar. You will therefore have 5 gr of the perfume, 2.5 gr. of Sharif and 2.5 gr. alcohol mixed together.

Sharif – the scent of handsome and mysterious gentleman.
Sharif is definitely one of the most elegant and stylish scents I have ever come across. Smooth and soft, but still deep and strong. This is a real pleasure to wear! I smell mostly almond/cherry note, amber, leather, musk and spices. Notes are blended extremely skillful and beautifully without any harshness.
Sharif is the scent for a successful, sophisticated, stylish man who knows best things in life.

The Sharif is the best fragrance I have ever encountered, and is even better than Tcharas. The Cuba Express is a night club fragrance and I’ll use it to wear to smoky bars and jazz concerts.
Thanks for what you do.

Sharif: An instant like for me – spicy, aromatic almonds. It reminds me of something and it’s driving me nuts (sorry). The green, aromatic herb, whatever it is (mastic? rosemary?) could be triggering memories of either Cologne Blanche or Tonka Imperiale for me, but this goes off in a spicier, greener direction overall. Despite the almonds, it is not sweet or stodgy. It feels rich but bracing. Later on, a slight chewiness develops around the resins, and it becomes sweeter, smokier. I’d love to know whether it was tonka or heliotrope that was used for the almond effect here.

I have a few bottles of your perfume and honestly, they are amazing. I’ve never smell anything like them before.
Definitely, Oak Moss is ranked the top position in my collection. It feels like I am vetyver in the furry and velvety forest floor. After trying many vetyver perfumes, I don’t think there is one vetyver that is not sharp and erect yet very soft and effortless like one in Oak Moss.
With the Arabian soul in their chests, Sharif and Tartar Leather always stand at my favorite list. All the notes are dancing together. I smell the wind inviting the spices to join the party. What stands out of your perfumes is that they are alive. The aroma doesn’t smell flat, instead it is 3-D, harmonized and have a beating heart.
Your knowledge and your perfumes are always my source of reference. Besides, authentic natural perfume brands like La Via Del Profumo, Aftelier, I feel like few people utilized the term “natural” for their own benefits. In my country, for example, some small business run many workshops to teach people to make perfume by mixing essential oils then diluting with alcohol in a couple of hours basis. It led me to a question that: Is it possible to make perfume by essential oils only ? I think that to make perfume needs absolutes in its heart and some animal tincture or resinoids as a fixative.
I’m wearing Mecca Balsam to seek a peaceful moment and I’d love to hearing and learning from you.
Warmest regards

Hi Salaam,
I just received my new order and wanted to let you know that I think Sharif, Attar Maulana (which I already have) and Tawaf are fantastic!
You have really created something special with your Arabian Series.
The new bottles are also very beautiful.

Finally the perfume has arrived. First impression, the bottle ed was perfect for a perfume called Sharif. The first spray on my skin was so delightful, I felt like there was a circle of scent with a deep center. There is an incense quality to the perfume for me. Of course I have received many compliments while wearing the scent, even from my husband.
Pure enjoyment is why I wear Sharif.
Thank you for sharing.

This fragrance is definitely not a wallflower. You don’t wear this to blend in (at least not where I live).
It makes me think of opulence. Maybe even excessive display of opulence. But not in an offensive way. More in a pure fun hedonistic way. It is also the only fragrance I’ve tried where the word “sexy” comes to mind.
Although, anyone who doesn’t like bravado, might disagree. It is a rich scent. It is royal scent. But without arrogance. It’s opening is almost edible. Like a cinnamon roll with a strong Arabic quality added in.
And over the hours this morphs into a rich warm sensual feel. Then there is also the almond note, that on my skin plays hide and go seek.
Sometimes when i wear this it stands up front in a wonderful way that understands how to stop short of too sweet. But it’s not there all the time, and fades away as the fragrance progresses. And sometimes when I wear this it stays in back through the entire progression. And that’s not the only thing that varies.
Wearing the fragrance is like several variations of the same story. I’m never sure what it’s going to do.
And I also notice a difference in where it is on my skin, such as back of hand versus back of wrist. But maybe it’s just me.
